The Holodomor Commemoration in Calgary:  Stalin tried to destroy the Ukrainian people and erase them from history in furtherance of the murderous communist ideology. Thank you Ukrainian Canadian Congress – UCC Calgary Branch for the beautiful program of remembrance.

Joined the Wings of Hope for Africa Light Up the Night: Christmas of Hope event with Muhammad Yaseen, Blaine Calkins and Greg McLean where I delivered a message of hope and perseverance to families facing hardships in our community.

The Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta 36th Annual Calgary Community Menorah Lighting celebrated Chanukah with hundreds of Calgarians, my colleagues Shuv Majumdar and Len Webber and other dignitaries. May light triumph over darkness.

Candlelight Vigil with community members and friends honouring the lives of Ania Kaminski and her father Stanislaw Wardzala. May their family and neighbours find comfort knowing the community stands with them in their grief.
