Constituents Shelby Skelton and Faith Satterthwaite, were in Ottawa with the United Nurses of Alberta and Alberta Federation of Labour. We discussed public health care and the challenges facing people living in our community.   

2026 Calgary Polar Plunge, organized by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, Calgary Police Service, Arbour Lake Residents Association, and Special Olympics Alberta.

“Iranian Family Outreach & Wellness – Voices of Remembrance” March 7th. On January 8th-9th 43,000 Iranians were killed by the Iranian Government for simply asking for their freedom. Some had families in Calgary. We honour their lives and remember their courage.  

Samantha Reid is a track and field leader and coach from Royal Oak, and Jean Claude Munyezamu from Tuscany is the Executive Director of Umoja Community Mosaic helping underserved Calgarians participle in sports. I learned about their important community work at the reception for Black Leaders in Sports in Ottawa.
