Remembering the Halabja Massacre
I spoke at “Remembering the Halabja Massacre” on the anniversary of Saddam Hussein’s gas attack that killed 5,000 Kurdish civilians in 1988 hosted by Calgary Kurdish House – Mala Kurd.
RCAF 100th Anniversary
I joined volunteers, veterans, and my colleagues MP Tom Kmiec and MP Greg McLean at the Opening of the Founder’s Gallery and the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force at the Military Museums.
Chinese New Year Festival
I also had the pleasure of attending the Chinatown Business Improvement Area’s Chinese New Year Festival.
Ukraine Anniversary
On the tragic second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, I joined Calgarians and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Calgary Branch at City Hall.
