House to House E-Newsletter

Dear ,

Over the past several weeks I have spoken in the House of Common on a number of issues that affect people in our community and Canadians across country.

It is important that the government be held to account when it fails to keep promises, or when its decisions harm Canadians.  When I’m in Ottawa, I use every tool I have available to ensure accountability from this government to Canadians, including speeches in debate, questions in Question Period, and Statements in the House of Commons.

My speech in response to the budget:

Questions about affordability and the automatic tax increase on beer, wine and spirits:

I raised concerns about declining safety on public transit:

I spoke against the Government’s internet regulation bill:

My statement on the Government’s broken promise to plant 2 billion trees

The House of Commons is scheduled to keep sitting until the end of June. If there is something that you would like me to raise in Parliament, especially if it is related to a bill before the House, please let me know by replying to this e-mail. It is always an honour to speak in the House of Commons.

-Pat Kelly
